I'm also using the premium repair kit, so I think it makes up for that. My modules are also exactly like that, except for the fact I've chosen the steering gear upgrade. Sometimes I rush into fights I can't possibly win because, well, it's an Iowa, it can destroy alien battleships. Thanks for the tips! I do almost all of that already, except I'm still working on the last one. ![]() There's no shame in retreating and living to fight longer. Know when to retreat, and don't sail into fights you can't win. Iowa is the best battleship in the game, but it will go down when outnumbered. citadels are pretty vulnerable, now more than ever, so make sure to put a lot of effort into exposing your side as least as possible. The Iowa has shotgun accuracy, so don't waste time with long range fights (nor should any battleship ever). Even though they nerfed the armor, the Iowa can still take quite a pounding from the front. sail straight into the enemy as much as possible. Never waste it on a single fire, you can repair most of that damage anyway. only use the repair kit for 2-3 fires or severe flooding. Apparently I'm ranked 3rd in the world in terms of average damage in the Iowa, but I can't really tell you my secret. ![]()
